About Me
Actor
Mel is a New York-based actor who loves the intimacy that comes with performance. Mel was born on Long Island and spent her formative years in a small black box studio covered in hot glue and the desire to perform well for her parents- who came to every show.
Since making the venture to Appalachia to study performance at Ohio University, Mel found passion performing has grown exponentially. Between being on the stage and being in front of a camera, Mel is committed to authenticiy and honesty in her performances.

Filmmaker
Mel discovered her love for film in highschool during the Pandemic. While she was stuck inside, she co-wrote her first full- length screenplay, Honeybee and never looked back.
Mel is committed to the idea that every set is a place to learn and to grow. She is incredibly passionate about directing, assistant directing, and screenwriting. Mel's favorite filmmakers are Don Hertzfeldt and VÄ›ra Chytilová.
